The BS of War

The BS of War:

A ex-marine by the name of Sam Lwin, now a conscientious objector and anti-War activist from the first Gulf war has a few grave insights into the promotion of war and especially the 9/11 promotion of war.

When GHW Bush initiated the first Gulf War, Sam was a Marine reservist.  Knowing that the Gulf War was, in reality, an oil war and having noted a few deceptions used by the GHW Bush government to get national support he, as a conscientious Marine refused to go.

I know what the righties will say.  They will make all kinds of rude remarks about Sam and others refusing to go to a fabricated war.  This is the normal behaviour of righties and, ultimately its just fool-speak.

It takes a lot of guts to, “Just say No.”

Sam and 25 other Marines, including eight from the City of New York, were all court marshalled and were sent to do time in the brig at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.

However, they were supported by many people who sent them letters of encouragement and books to help them pass the time.  Because of this support and the public pressure extended by the ‘friends’ their sentences were shortened up to two years.  Some important groups that gave them encouragement and aid were Hands Off! and War Resistors League.

One war resistor told Sam about a man named Smedley Butler.  He was a Marine general who had twice won the Congressional Medal of Honour.  In 1933 he published a book called War Is a Racket.

Sam has quoted a couple of signature pieces in this book;

“War is just a racket. A racket is best described, I believe, as something that is not what it seems to the majority of people. Only a small inside group knows what it is about. It is conducted for the benefit of the very few at the expense of the masses.”

“I spent 33 years and 4 months in active service as a member of our country’s most agile military force–the Marine Corps. I served in all commissioned ranks from second lieutenant to Major General. And during that period I spent most of my time being a high-class muscle man for Big Business, for Wall Street and for the bankers. In short, I was a racketeer for capitalism.”

Things have changed though.  They’re worse.  And Big Business makes war.

Sam continues to explain that it was the first Gulf War that showed him that things were not as they seemed.  Nevertheless 9/11 took a bit to convince him how bad things really were.  He says he chose not to reject the official story because he dared not believe otherwise.  I take this to mean that 9/11 was too big to believe otherwise because to do so would be to say the the Bush government killed all these people in a false flag event.  I find it hard to believe, too.

However, Sam changed his mind when the Bush Administration began its propaganda insistence hat Saddam Hussein was hiding Weapons of Mass Destruction in and about Iraq.  In early 2002 Sam began to look for answers.  Something more Americans and Canadians should do.

After four years of intense work Sam determined that 9/11 too was a racket; a military false flag psy-op adventure that has led to the fracturing of the Middle East by the USA and friends.  It continues and those of limited minds fall for the propaganda.

Sam is maddened by the fact that the anti-war movement still refuses to believe that 9/11 was constructed to give the US Government an easier time to get the American people onside with the wars that are now being concocted.  I can understand why they shy away from the obvious.  The anti-war people are afraid of being even less attended to if they were to adhere to the truths about 9/11.  They believe, and correctly, that the controversy would set them back years simply because people refuse to believe that the official story, full of massive holes, is false.  The righties news propaganda insists still that to not believe the official story is just foolish.  People are afraid of looking foolish so they believe the astounding lies.

I’d like to end with a statement by Sam Lwin:

“I propose that our brothers and sisters in the anti-war movement, whom I thank a great deal from my experience in the first Gulf war, join with us in the 9/11 Truth movement, to courageously pursue the truth with us–our Satyagraha–to bring into reality a truly independent investigation into the events of 9/11. And through our collective efforts, we can began to dismantle the authority of this traitorous, treasonous, and illegitimate administration in the current wars and their nefarious plans for wider wars in the Middle East and elsewhere. Only when the truth of 9/11 comes into light, on a national and international arena, will we be able to stop their immoral, unethical, and unconscionable rackets.

Thank you.”
